Are there any guarantees when buying real estate at auction?For all real estate auctions, our previews are held in advance of the day of the auction, giving potential buyers ample opportunity to inspect and review the property. A clear title is guaranteed to the buyer at auction. This in in contrast to a sheriff's sale where the property title search is the responsibility of the new buyer.
Is a deposit required? Real estate deposits are either a fixed amount or a percentage of the winning bid.
What about a buyer's premium? Buyer's premiums vary depending on the value of the property.
How are closings conducted? Closings are typically 30-45 days after the auction. JAS has active business relationships with area service providers to assist with financing and closings. All of whom are professional and expedient. Buyers are also able to utilize their own providers. Unless the buyer has a preferred settlement company, JAS works with an area settlement company who is professional and expedient to conduct the real estate closing.
